Yellow Roses Teacup

My pretty yellow rose teacup is the one I've picked for today to share with you.  I just love the bright cheery yellow roses that just pop on the cup.  It's fine bone china from England but does not list a name of the pattern.
I like the curve of the delicate handle and the feel of it in my hand.  I love using it in the Spring and Summer as it just fits well for this time of year.
I like the mixture of the large and smaller roses on the saucer.  It mirrors the large and small roses on the cup.  This is the other side of the cup with the smaller rose.

It just seems to be such a happy tea cup!

This is the place that it sits in my home on this wall shelf
with other tea cups and pretty lovlies and as much
Victorian flavor that I can find!

Of course I have to show you the rose inside the cup which
welcomes my tea I'm drinking today which is "Constant
Comment" Green.

I just thought the lovely yellow of the Victorian Ladies dress
went very well with the tea cup.

I hope you enjoyed your stay today!!

  2. What a sweet teacup/saucer, Sue. Yellow roses are so lovely, and not as often seen on teacups as pink rose bouquets, so that make them a delightful change of pace. The shape of the cup is so pretty, and the handle, too. I love all your yellow today.

    Blessings,
    Marianne

It reminds me of my late MIL who was very much a lady and loved cheery yellow in her clothes and decor.
