Since today is the running of the roses
I need to find something to wear.

something like this....
Of course the hat is very important!!
I think this will do for me today.
Have a blessed day in what ever you

Hello Sue, You look wonderful in your dresses!!
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to meet you! Thank you for visiting me today, I too enjoy dressing in other era clothing (we have been doing 1812 re-enacting)
Many Blessings and warmth Linnie
Thank you so much, Linnie, for your nice comment. How fun that you are a re-enactor also!! I love it! I am a Tombstone Vigilante/Vigilette so I do 1880's to 1915.
ReplyDeleteThank you following me....Sue
Oh you look great! I like all your cards too! How fun! You have inspired me with your cards, I could have had fun with some of my horse and fancy lady postcards and with some hats. Oh well, maybe next year! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the hats. I say every year that I am going to make hats with my daughters for Kentucky Derby Day, but I haven't ever done it. Then this year, my son remembered what I said, and he surprised us by helping his little sisters decorate their own hats in secret and "unveiled" them just moments before the race began.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful hats and clothing you have! I also love the Victorian Era! Thank you for sharing on the Art of Home-Making Mondays this week! I look forward to following along on your journey back in time :)
ReplyDeleteI love all of the hats! Thanks for sharing at What'd You Do This Weekend?!
